New Pins for Star Wars Weekends!!

Star Wars Weekends are taking place this year starting in May, and in addition to the parades and shows, Disney Pin collectors will be able to check out a slew of new limited edition pins.This year's theme is the 30th anniversary of The Empire Strikes Back, so most of the pins feature iconic scenes from this Star Wars favorite. The Disney Parks Blog  unveiled all the new pins to be released during Star Wars Weekends.

First up, we've got the Passholder-exclusive pin, which features a frozen Han Solo.Sitting next to this pin is the Vacation Club-exclusive pin, which features Mickie and Minnie escaping on Tauntauns!

Next up, we have the limited edition weekend pins. These pins all feature memorable moments from The Empire Strikes Back, and are sure to sell out fast. It is unknown if all the pins will be released at once, or periodically to supply demand through all four Star Wars weekends.

in addition there will be an open edition R2-MK unit pin released (with Mickey ears!!) and a mystery pin set featuring Muppets dressed as Star Wars characters.
