2012 Hidden Mickeys Hit eBay

Though Disney has yet to release an official statement, it looks like several of the 2012 Hidden Mickey pins have already been seen in parks and are appearing on eBay. Pictures of perfume bottle pins, Mickey around the world, Winnie the Pooh, and astrological signs have all popped up online, despite no official checklist or images having been released by Disney.


Though these pin are probably scrappers (fake pins mass-produced from old molds thrown away by Disney) if you want a sneak peak of what this years' Hidden Mickey lineup will be, check out these images, direct from eBay!

Hidden Mickey 2011 Pins Wave B Coming Soon!

Have you collected all of the Wave A 2011 hidden Mickey pins yet? Well get ready, because Wave B is almost here!

The Disney Parks blog has updated today with a few sneak previews of the hidden mickey pins for the second wave of 2011 (which is being called Hidden Mickey 2011 Wave B, officially). These new hidden Mickey pins will feature everything from Pincesses to T-shirts, and even a special regionally-themed set. The t-shirt set below will be coming to both Walt Disney World and Disneyland and features 10 characters all with their likenesses on T-shirts!

Click past the "Read More" link to see Disney princesses and more from this new 2011 hidden Mickey set. Although no firm release date has been given, look for these pins to start hitting the parks later this summer!As soon as we have an official Hidden Mickey 2011 checklist for wave B, we'll make sure to share it with you!

Celebrate Tron's DVD Release with Limited Edition Pin

Loved Tron: Evolution? Can't wait for the Tron:Evolution Blu-Ray and DVD release on April 5th? Well you can get in on the excitement a little early with this limited edition DVD-release pin. This Tron DVD pin will be exclusive to the Disneyland Resort and is being released next week. Though it is a little bit hard to see in the picture, the pin features a replica slip-cover of the DVD version of Tron: Evolution, and a slide-out DVD featuring the actual disc art (for the DVD, not the Blu-Ray!) Definitely a must-have for serious Tron collectors and fans!

Flower and Garden 2011 at EPCOT

Flower and Garden festival 2011 started last week at EPCOT! In addition to the beautiful topiary displays, helpful workshops, and fun concerts, Flower and Garden festival also includes purchase opportunities for limited edition event pins. This years cache includes a logo pin (with cute Mickey Mouse accents) and character specific pins featuring Chip and Dale, Daisy and Donald, Mickey and Minnie, and Tinker Bell. Disney Pin Trading Night at Walt Disney World Date for March Announced

Love pin trading? Try going to a pin trading night! These events are designed to increase the community between fans, and are a great way to trade limited edition, hidden mickey, and cast-exclusive pins. Pin trading nights also generally include unique purchase opportunities. If you are in the area, the next pin trading night is on March 18, 2011, and will take place from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. in Disney's Contemporary Resort at the Ballroom of the America. Pin trading night is free to attend, and you can reach the resort either directly or via the EPCOT monorail track.

Hollywood-Themed Pin Event This Weekend!

Love the Oscars? Head on down to the Hollywood Soda Fountain and Studio Store at Disneyland this Saturday at 6:30 for a Hollywood-themed trading event! There will be plenty of exclusive pins for sale, including the above "statue" pins of Stitch, Chip, Dale, and Tinker Bell. These are all limited edition of 300, so make sure you arrive early. The Florida Project: Coming This Fall!

As any Disney aficionado knows, "The Florida Project" was the codename for what was to become the Walt Disney World resort in Orlando, Florida. Now, "The Florida Project" also refers to an exciting pin event coming this fall! Though details are currently scarce, we do have some basic details about this exciting event. Much like the "Love is Magical" event that took place earlier this year, "The Florida Project" will take place at World ShowPlace at the EPCOT park, and will be a hard-ticketed event.

The date for this event it September 9-11, 2011, and there will be several activities planned for lucky pin traders. Though no checklists have been revealed, the Disney Pin Blog recently gave viewers a sneak peek at one of the pins that will be exclusive to the event. And to no one's surprise, the pin features everyone's favorite retro mascot, The Orange Bird!
